Aerial Inspection Package

We highly recommend our Aerial Inspection Package as a supplementary service to the Level 2 and 3 Home Surveys.

Our service combines an  aerial drone and a 15 metre telescopic pole mounted camera that allows us to carry out a much more thorough inspection of the property you intend to purchase without the need to hire expensive equipment.

Watch our video for a brief demonstration of our service and the various elements that we can see that would usually either be of restricted view or not visible at all within a standard survey. You can also view the Fact Sheet

We are able to reach areas that would otherwise be inaccessible within the standard scope of a survey. These areas might include for example; parapet gutters, valley gutters, unusual roof designs, tops of chimneys, backs of chimneys and flat roof dormers. These hidden areas are often neglected and costly to put right. Identifying these issues in most cases has saved our clients thousands of pounds in repair bills which means when you finally move into your new home you can do so with confidence and without worry. Our imagery is captured in high definition and included within the body of the report.

Case Study: Harleston, Norfolk.

At this property in Harleston we identified missing roof capping (left-hand photo) and splits to the lead flashing (right-hand photo) that were leading to damp ingress into a hidden parapet wall and causing deterioration to the roof structure. These issues would not have been apparent had it not been for our aerial drone and pole camera.

Our Level 2 or Level 3 Surveys can be upgraded with our Aerial Inspection Package.

Case Study: Golden Triangle, Norwich.

At this property in the Golden Triangle our aerial drone and telescopic pole camera was used to identify missing tiles hidden behind a chimney, which left unchecked could have resulted in damp ingress, as well as highlighting multiple cracks to the top of the chimney. We were also able to get up close and identify cracks to another chimney which due to the constraints of the site and size of the garden would not have been visible within the scope of a standard survey inspection.

Our Level 2 or Level 3 Surveys can be upgraded with our Aerial Inspection Package.

Fees for our supplementary Aerial Inspection Package start at £100.00
